Departure from Rome for Tel Aviv with scheduled flight. Transfer in private coach to Nazareth, check-in and dinner at the hotel.
Transfer in private coach to Mount Tabor to visit the Church of the Transfiguration. Visit to Cana of Galilee where the married couples can renew their marriage promises. In the afternoon we will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church of Saint Joseph.
Departure for Lake Tiberias where we will Capernaum, the village of Jesus, with it's first century synagogue and the House of Saint Peter. We will cross the border Sheik Hussein and enter into Jordan where we will visit Jerash with the famous Greek-Roman ruins. Arrival in Amman where we check-in and have dinner in the hotel.
Departure for Madaba where we will visit the Church of Saint George with it's famous floor mosaic which is a Byzantine era Map of the Holy Land. Continue up Mount Nebo where we will visit the Memorial of Saint Moses who looked upon the Promised Land from this spot. Arrival in the evening in Petra where we check-in and have dinner in the hotel.
In the morning visit Petra, situated in the biblical land of Edom, a World Wonder with it's remains from the ancient Nabatean people and from Roman times. We will walk along the Siq in Wadi Musa, the "Valley of Moses", and we will arrive through this narrow mountain passage to one of the most elaborate temples, the Treasury, carved out of sandstone rock face. In the afternoon we will make the return journey to Amman where we will check-in and have dinner in the hotel.
In the morning we will cross the border at Allenby Bridge to reach the Dead Sea, the lowest area on earth. We will renew our baptismal promises at Qasr el Yahud and we will visit Qumran, where the "Dead Sea scrolls" were discovered in 1947 and perhaps where the Essene community lived. In the evening we arrive in Bethlehem where we check-in and have dinner in the hotel.
Departure for Jerusalem where we will visit the Mount of Olives: Gethsemane with the Basilica of the Agonia, the church of Dominus Flevit. In the afternoon we will have the Way of the Cross through the streets of the Old City of Jerusalem, following the Via Dolorosa along the same path Jesus followed during his Passion. Entrance to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre. Return to Bethlehem for dinner in the hotel.
Departure for Jerusalem where we will visit Mount Sion: the Upper Room of the Last Supper, the Church of the Dormition of Mary, Saint Peter in Gallicantu. Visit to the Western Wall (aka "Wailing Wall"). Return to Bethlehem where we will visit the Basilica of the Nativity and the church of the Shepherd's Field. Dinner in the hotel.
Transfer in private coach to the airport in Tel Aviv where we board the return flight to Rome.

A valid and signed passport is required, valid for 6 months beyond the return date of the trip. In case an entrance visa for Israel is required by your country of origin (please check with the embassy of Israel in your country), then it is necessary to send a photocopy of each passport to ORP within a month from the departure date for the pilgrimage, in those cases where ORP will assist in requesting the visas (when the group is departing from Italy).
For this itinerary, we can only take group requests (minimum 20 participants).
