2020 Centenary of the birth of Saint John Paul II

Warsaw and Cracow, October 14 - 19

Visiting the places where Saint John Paul II lived in the centenary year of his birth will be a wonderful experience. We will also visit places linked with two other saints: Saint Faustina Kowalska and Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

Poland is a coffer of faith and beauty: Czestochowa enshrines the famous icon of the Black Madonna, Wadowice preserves the memory of the young Karol Wojtyla, Lagiewniki guards the bodily remains of Saint Faustina Kowalska. The experience of such important places for our Christian faith will be enriched by the visit to Cracow, the most visited city in Poland, along with its Historical Center which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

You will be taken by wonder upon visiting “Market Square” as you are submerged by the colors and the unique ambience of this market of fabrics and by St. Mary's Basilica. To the south of the historical district, we will visit Wawel Castle and the Royal Cathedral where all of the polish monarchs are buried. This six day itinerary comprises a visit to Warsaw, considered the Paris of the North.
